I’m reading Zizek’s latest. It’s really quite good (I’m going to discuss it in an essay that will hopefully be published online, so I’ll link to it later). I was disappointed by this footnote on page 121:

The following account relies heavily upon the relevant Wikipedia entries…

Really? We’re footnoting Wikipedia in books now? It might be ok if other resources were referenced, but using Wikipedia as your sole resource in a discussion of a historical event…

  1. I just like the fact that Altizer made a brief appearance in his book. I wish I could go to AAR to listen to their debate.
